Sunrise Licensed Family Child Care is an Alberta government-accredited and regulated Family Day Home run by an experienced and highly professional Early Childhood Educator with various distinguished degrees, training, and certificates in the field.
The main mission of Sunrise Day Home is to provide quality childcare services by helping our beloved children grow, learn, and thrive happily and healthily. As a mother, I know the needs of children in different phases of their lives personally, and I believe my professional knowledge, skills, and experiences have added more crucial aspects to this helping process. This Day Home prioritizes a highly hygienic and healthy environment for our children to play, laugh, learn, and grow as per their needs. It is running on the main floor of a brand-new home that is clean and sunny.
Our Approach
As my approach is based on an emergent curriculum, I emphasize on teaching philosophy that focuses on creating meaningful learning experiences for children by responding to their interests, needs, and strengths. It means children are at the centre of their learning journey.
This day home was established in 2019. It is approved and regulated by the Government of Alberta. Children who enrol here are able to get subsidies and grants if they are eligible. It has an excellent reputation among parents in the community. Early childhood educators running this day home are Certified with Level 3 (supervisory level) Early Childhood Certificate and are highly Dedicated. They have University Degrees in Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education, as well as many years of working experience with children in different settings. As this is an owner-owned family day home, it always strives to offer the best for children enrolled with this day home.
